Seabuckthom (Hippophae rhamnoides) is probably a native of Europe and/or Asia, as it is known to grow wild as well as in cultivated forms in both continents. Its usefulness has been known since time immemorial, however, a renewed interest in this wonder plant is of recent past. Today, it is known for its food, medicinal and cosmetic properties all over the world. And therefore, the attention and interest generated amongst the scientists, pharmacists and farmers is fully justified.
