Description |
The earliest stage of human existence undoubtedly depended on hunting and gathering of wild foods from nature. During that era no plants or animals were probably domesticated. Presumably, different types of primitive civilizations developed with the passage of time. Progressively humans developed brain and intelligentsia and no longer relied on the blind forces of nature and had thus, entered into the controlled production of food for his own needs. He still had to cope with unfavourable seasons, losses through floods, hail and droughts; and the toll taken by rodents, insects, frosts and other hostile forces.
