The early history of domestic apple has been lost in antiquity. The apple probably originated In the region of the Caucasus and in europe, it existed both in wild and cultivated forms from time immorial and appears to have been well developed at the beginning of the Christian airland by 1863, even in U.S.A the apple had become established from coast coast (Turkey and Bhomkar, 1978).
