Description |
The information on the seasonal variation of leaf nutrient composition is important for assessing the nutrient uptake pattern of apple plants. Variation in leaf nutrient content with season is an important consideration when analytical data are used in the prediction of the tree nutrient status by foliar analysis (Driessche, 1974). The nutrient content of leaves of the deciduous trees are known to differ appreciably with season (Leece and Gilmore, 1974, Morgan and Hennerty, 1975).
