Computers and Information Technology revolution is bringing fundamental changes in all aspects of life. Even the governance by the Institutions is becoming increasingly easier and citizen friendly. The use of internet for governance by the Institutions and the State is known as e-governance. Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University has launched the Computer Literacy campaign most vigorously on many fronts. Whereas on the one front, it is planning to conduct the training to all the employees of the State Government on the other it is spreading IT education to all its employees and students. Centre for Human Resource Development, CSK HP Agricultural University Palampur has drawn up progressive training curricula for the employees (teaching and non-teaching) of the State. This Computers Handbook for Day to Day Office Work is the first stage capsule. After doing this an employee should be able to make effective use of Information Technology for e-governance and day-to-day office work. |
