Description |
Present investigation was undertaken to assess the nutritional status of school going children from Mahendergarh district of Haryana. Two hundred school going children (100 boys and 100 girls of 7-9 years of age) from two villages namely Kanina and Gudha were selected. Information was collected on socio-economic status, dietary habits, food and nutrient intake (24-h recall method), anthropometric measurements, clinical assessment of children and nutritional knowledge of mothers of school going children.
