Description |
The nutritional status of school going children from Rohtak district of Haryana was assessed. Two hundred school going children (100 boys and 100 girls, 7-9 years of age) from two villages namely Lakhanmajra and Kahanaur were selected. Information was collected on socio-economic status, dietary habits, food and nutrient intake (24-h recall method n=100), anthropometric measurements, clinical assessment and nutritional knowledge of mothers of school going children.
