Description The present study was conducted in Varanasi district of Uttar Pradesh Agriculture is a blooming business laid on the foundation of survival. It has undergone remarkable changes owing to the technological pushes Integration of natural recourses along with Agri- inputs is important for future development .Growth in agriculture is therefore, necessary to provide food security to India .Agri-inputs have an important role in increasing the productivity of crops; they are also a means for other supporting system. Their availability needs to be ensured at consuming point based on micro planning. Various key issues confronted with agriculture etc. have been identified for address in them through planning and Policy support. Agriculture related activities contribute to about75% of the income in rural areas. Indian growth story is now spreading itself to India’s hinterlands .With rising incomes, both consumption and production have increased significantly grain production was in excess of 227.3 million tons in 2007-08 which was an increase of an 4.6 per cent over the previous year. In 2008, the rural market has grown at an impressive rate of 25 per cent compared to the 7-10 per cent growth rate of the urban consumer retail market. In total of the respondents, 91 percent had fully / partly irrigation facilities on their farm. In relative terms, maximum irrigated farmers were observed in case of small medium group (79%) against lowest (22%) in case of large group. About more than two – third (70.66%) of the respondents strongly recommended their views to use IFFCO fertilizers while one – third (20.88%) of the respondents reported sometime to use the IFFCO fertilizers while 4 percent disagreed to recommend the same.
