Description |
The biggest technological events of the last decades were the violation of the digital media in an entire range of everyday life appearance. Copying is simple without lossless of fidelity and a copy of a digital media is identical to the original. With digital multimedia distribution through global networks Intellectual Property Right (IPR) are more threatened than ever because of the possibility of unlimited copying, therefore the security is the main problem in the modern digital world. newlineAs solutions for these security risks, users can shut down unused services, keep the security gaps updated, reduce permissions and access rights of applications and users. Another solution for this problem can be provided by using cryptography. Cryptography consists of cryptology and cryptanalysis. Encryption comes under cryptology. It is the process of converting a readable message/image into an unreadable format by using a set of rules for that process. It is called an encryption algorithm. Most of the nowadays existing encryption algorithms concern only on security. newlineThis idea of encryption is implemented on images as a part of multimedia by using multi objective soft computing algorithms such as genetic algorithms, fuzzy logic and fuzzy sets. The technology of soft computing is a term applied to a field within computer science which is characterized by the use of inexact solutions to computationally hard tasks such as the solution of complete problems, Moreover it may be defined as the fusion of methodologies which are designed to model and enable solution to real world problems that are not modelled or too difficult to model mathematically. Its aim is to exploit the leniency for imprecision, doubt, approximate reasoning, and partial truth in order to achieve close resemblance with human like decision making. newlineThe soft computing methodology has been exercised successfully to the solution of many heavy computation problems, mainly in the fields of image processing and video processing. Very interesting and promising results. — |
