Description |
· To carry out voltage stability analysis of a power system by finding the proximity of the system to voltage collapse. newline· Voltage Collapse Proximity indicators, namely Line Stability Index (LSI), Fast Voltage Stability Index (FVSI), Line Stability Factor (LQP) and Novel Line Stability Index(NLSI) have been found and their performances analyzed for active and reactive load changes for IEEE 14 bus system newline· The continuation power flow (CPF) method has been implemented on a two bus system. It aids in plotting the P-V and Q-V Curve on a bus so as to find the loading margins and maximum loadability. The limitation of this method has also been identified. newline· The contour evaluation program gives the global response of a power system for variations in the node constraints and has been applied to a two bus system, IEEE 14 bus and 30 bus systems for finding relationships between any two node variables with different constraints and some of the relationships between variables have been plotted. newline· The Artificial Neural Network (ANN) method is proposed for online voltage stability assessment for IEEE 14 bus system with novel input- output combination. newline· The efficiency and speed of the ANN has been improved by reducing the input data dimension by application of Principal Component Analysis (PCA) method for the IEEE 14 and 30 bus systems. newline· Events which produce a similar impact on the power system from voltage stability point of view have been identified. newline newline Ref. page 116-122, Appendix_A Page xxiv.
