Description Large online retailers are trying to establish secure transaction technologies to reduce
newlinethe rate of fraudulent transactions. The rapid development of communication technologies
newlineand standardizations have created possible growth in e-commerce. Reduction
newlinein the operation cost, enhancement in the transactions speed and easy availability to
newlinecustomers became the reasons for the popularity of e-commerce. This thesis examines
newlinethe issues related to the security and threat prevention of the assets and transactions in
newlinethe e-commerce components and activities. In ecommerce transactions, large amount
newlineof public money is involved, so role of information security and privacy is important in
newlinethis type of business. E-commerce security is analyzed as an engineering management
newlinetask and a life cycle approach is introduced. Finally, an exploratory survey of various
newlinee-commerce security framework and models are analyzed and security collaboration
newlineand model is presented.
newlineThe popularity of electronic commerce is gaining day by day. The points of attractions
newlinefor adoption of E-commerce are time, high availability, ubiquitous, efficiency
newlineand economic cost. With the rapid growing technologies, the recent growth in ecommerce
newlineorganizations need improvement of internal and external information flow.
newlineThe high availability of information requirements have served combination of logistics
newlinemanagement systems and supply chain management systems in many industries. The
newlineutilization of unified resources with e-commerce will shape the business progress for
newlinethe future. In this thesis, we are presenting framework for e-commerce processes based
newlineon efficient resource utilization model. This unified framework can be applied as a new
newlinee-commerce service delivery model by using a design pattern with solution templates.
newlineThe e-commerce strategies can be improved with the impact of this framework when
newlinemaking decisions to support the supply chain management systems.
