Description |
Combined effect of crop geometry and weed management option reveled that the combination of crop geometry of 45 cm x 20 cm with post emergence applications of atrazine 1.25 kg ha_1 at 15 DAS followed by one hand weeding at 40 DAS gave higher gross, net income and benefit: cost ratio (Rs. 106410 and 103245, 71050 and 65633, 2.01 and 1.74 respectively during 2012 and 2013) followed by crop geometry of 60 x 20 cm with post emergence application of atrazine 1.25 kg ha_1 at 15 DAS followed by one hand weeding at 40 DAS (Rs. 105506 and 101162, 71146 and 63550, 1.98 and 1.69 respectively during 2012 and 2013)
