| Abstract | Even trough chemical fish net preservatives are extensively used in many countries of the temperate region their use in India seems to be restristed to the States of Gujerat and certain regions of West Bengal (Kuriyan and Nayar, 1961). Experiments conducted earlier to evaluate the effectiveness of some of the imported chemical preservatives on cotton (Miyamoto and Shariff, 1962). |
