| Abstract | An attempt is made in the following paper to give a brief account of the methods of freezing of non-conventional seafood items. It has been estimated that about 70% of our already installed freezing capacity is lying idle at present due to shortage of the conventional raw materials and even if a portion of it is utilized for freezing preservation of the the non-conventional items, it can go a long way in substantially boosting up our seafood industry. |
