| Abstract | The bulletin is an introduction to synthetic fish netting yarns and provides definition of associated terms. This is followed by typical data sheets on the properties of netting yarns available in India. Methods of evaluation of properties are described in brief with relevant sources of reference. Methods of estimation of net webbings are also presented together with worked out examples. An exercise for the calculations involved in quality evaluation and estimation has been presented. |
