| Abstract | The major varieties of small fish caught off Andhra coast are anchovies, silver bellies and lesser sardines. The major portion of traditionally dried small fish is used as poultry or cattle feed. The search for new products making use of the small fish for human consumption is a continuing process. Some of them are discussed here. |
