Efficient utilization of rainwater can be made by roof water harvesting in tanks, rainwater collection in lined ponds and by ground water & recharging. Coordinated efforts of all line departments, agencies and other institutions pertaining to drought management watershed development, water management, land use etc are required for the implementation of action plans |
