| Abstract | A simple, light and rugged instrument for the remote continuous measurement of tilt of otterboards in fishery practice to described. The instrument indicates the tilt in a meter an board the vessel in the range -.44° to +44° with an accuracy of ±2°, after receiving the signals in the form of variations in electrical resistance from a transducer fitted on the otterboard. The coat of the instrument is low compared to the instruments currently in use. |
