The proceedings of a forum on Agriculture in the year 2000: the case of the ACP countries, have just been published. The forum was held in Athens, Greece, on 2 4 - 2 6 November 1988. It was organized jointly by CTA and the Greek Government during the latter's presidency of the EEC. The final report of this first Euro-African Congress on the Agricultural Mechanization has been published. The Congress was organized by the Belgian Federation of Agricultural and Horticultural Machinery (UGEXPO) during the Brussels international agricultural week. This is one of the major European fairs that lays emphasis on North-South cooperation and the need to adapt material originating from Europe to suit the requirements of countries in the South.
