A first announcement and call for papers has been issued for the 15th Congress of the International Commission of Irrigation and Drainage (ICID) to be held in The Hague, The Netherlands, 6-11 September 1993. The central theme will be Water management in the next century. Four subjects of topical interest will be discussed. ICID Congresses, which are held every three years, provide a forum to exchange information and new ideas from all over the world on irrigation and drainage.
