Although Agritex staff have wide gad experience, it is considered important that their expertise in the economic and social aspects of planning and implementing policies and projects should be developed further. The employees concerned will be registered for either the postgraduate Diploma or the MSc in Agricultural Development for External Students and will remain in their posts while studying part time. This is a well-proven, cost-effective training programme which will help Agritex meet the challenges of agricultural development in Zimbabwe.
