Responding to Spore 87, a new reader, Ms A Nkebukwa of the Women s Research and Documentation Project at the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, says she has been 'especially impressed by the brief, precise and interesting manner in which Spore articles are written to convey vital information'. Welcome, Ms Nkebukwa! Dr H Mwalweni of the Department of Animal Production and Health in Kalomo, Zambia, tells us that Spore is 'simply beautiful' but chastises us for the missing page on courses and conferences. Well, we are sorry that other reader demands forced us to reduce our coverage of courses, knowing the value it had for some readers, but we have many tens of thousands of readers, and only sixteen pages every two months for all of them. We plan soon to review overall reader use of Spore, and that may lead to changes. Watch this space, as they say.
