Many innovative attempts have been made by local artisans to market their small-scale manufacture of hand tools and workshop equipment. How about promoting their products on the World Wide Web? That s what several small businesses have done in Cameroon: the Modern Farmers Group of Esse (GAME) and the CLAAC workshop now proudly display their wares on the Africadev Website: their boiler pans, hand graters, sieves and presses are there for all the world (with computers) to see, and buy.
