Samuel Taryanouba, of the Groupement de Producteurs de Karkandji (GPK, BP 97, Koumra, Chad) says the group 'comprises twenty farmers of sorrel (oseille de Guinée in French, karkandji in Arabic, bisap in Wolof and agria in Jamaica). We have agreed to put half our earnings from selling sorrel into a local savings and credit fund for farmers to invest in farm improvements. We grow it organically, and dry the leaves in the sun. Please announce in Spore that we are ready for customers from afar.'
