Description Writing from PO Box 236, Webuye, Kenya, Khaemba Simiyu is looking for advice on rearing worms. 'We are using millet straw as a substrate to rear manure worms for feeding poultry and fish. A structure similar to a toilet roof is used, with a sloping panel of millet straw placed like a thatch on wooden poles. After four to five months, the straw is full of worms in all stages of development, hundreds per square metre. The problem is how to keep the process going continuously as the millet straw decomposes soon after harvest. Can anyone give advice?'
