Hundred and twelve S3 progenies from farmers’ selections in the Guinea Naine Diversified Population (GNDP) were phenotyped in two contrasted environments, low P and high P fields. Mean traits such as plant height, internode length, grain yield, grain appreciation, etc. were recorded and individual panicles selected for generation advancing.
