Description |
In collaboration with local seed service, development partners organizations (Dos) e.g. NGOs/farmers organizations and public extension were enabled by PABRA members to select farmers who are able to produce and market seed in their communities. These seed enterprises are trained on pre and post bean management and business by both NARS and local DOs. After training, they access parental seed (either certified or basic) to produce QDS based on community demand (variety and quantity). Minimum (one) backstopping and inspection services are carried out by services and NARS/DOs.
