Through the FAO-ICARDA initiative on Training and Surveillance Support for Wheat Rust Diseases, technical backstopping, guidelines and financial support were provided to facilitate national in-country rust surveillance in 10 countries in Central Asia, North Africa, and the Middle East. The results from the in-country rust surveillance field surveys are presented in this report.
