Description |
TS progenies from intercrossing selected F1 Piurana and Tuberosa derived S. tuberosum hybrids with late blight resistance (LB) and heat tolerance (HT). This is a pre-breeding product from GCDT project "Sustainable use of potato crop wild relatives (CWR) and development of a pre-breeding core collection with key climate change-related traits". This BC1 hybrid progenies will segregate for resistance to late blight from wild S. chiquidenum, S. cajamarcence and S. pausicectum species as well as from B3 population, in a background of heat tolerant and virus resistance from LTVR population used as male parents.
