Description |
A selection of sweet potato germplasm for the presence and variability of sweepoviruses was screened and the six most diverse isolates for complete sequencing and co-infection experiments with Sweet potato chlorotic stunt virus SPCSV were selected to determine whether synergism with SPCSV is a general phenomenon for sweepoviruses as it is with other viruses. Small interfering RNA (siRNA) profiles in single and mixed infections were also determined with the reference isolate StV1, and compared with those of the well-studied interaction between SPCSV and Sweet potato feathery mottle virus (SPFMV)
