Description The ICRAF contribution was to collect and analyse data from Kenya as part of a four country study on climate change perceptions and responses by rural communities and farmers. The formal survey was done in Bondo and Bungoma districts. The study found that farmers were undertake a range of different ex ante and ex post measures in response to various drivers and incentives. SLM type of investments were made to varying degrees but often not in direct response to climate change or variability. Nonetheless, it was generally found that yield variability is reduced when SLM investments were made.
