Description The 2005 Ghana Social Accounting Matrix (SAM) is a consistent data framework that captures the information contained in the national income and product accounts and the input-output table, as well as the monetary flows between institutions. The SAM estimates the structure of the Ghanaian economy in 2005 and includes detailed information on 56 production sectors, six factors of production, income and expenditures of rural and urban households, the government budget, and the balance of payments. A regionally disaggregated version of the SAM is available from the authors upon request.
