Description |
A new understanding of disease control aims to unite human and animal medical approaches to better control disease spread and so improve international public health. In this film, representatives of seven institutional members of a 'Participatory Epidemiology Network for Animal and Public Health' talk about ways of involving and consulting widely with communities and health workers. The goal is to empower local people and encourage teamwork among farmers, veterinarians, nurses, doctors, governments and other specialists.
