Description Fast radio bursts (FRBs) are an enigmatic population of energetic radio pulses that are thought to be produced at cosmological distances. While most FRBs have only been seen as a single burst of emission, repeat bursts have recently been identified from FRB 121102 discovered at Arecibo. We propose to follow up the exceptionally bright and well localised FRB 150807 to search for repeated pulses and periodic emission. If the burst is found to repeat, we will be able to confirm the link between Parkes and Arecibo FRBs; if it is found to have periodic emission, we will demonstrate that FRBs are associated with rotating objects such as neutron stars. If neither is found, our results will suggest that there are multiple classes of FRBs.
