This projects monitors a number of the fastest-rotating objects in the Universe which act like radio light-houses, producing clock-like tics that come with a precision comparable to that of atomic clocks. Measuring the clock-like ticks allows us to test Einstein's theory of gravity, to search for ripples in space-time and to address a large number of other problems in fundamental physics. |
