| Description |
Pulsars are peculiar objects. Some suddenly switch off. Others seem to act as a normal pulsars, but then (within one rotation of the neutron star) suddenly change their profile shape. Some pulsars undergo events in which their spin frequency suddenly increases. Recently astronomers have found evidence for links between these various phenomena. With these observations we plan to study such links in more detail than has been possible before.
