Title |
P982 - The first coherently de-dispersed search for new pulsars in Southern globular clusters

Description |
One of the primary goals of modern-day pulsar astronomy is to discover a pulsar in orbit around a black hole. One likely place to look is in the centre of globular clusters where there are many stars. The Parkes telescope has recently been upgraded and our observations will provide the most sensitive search to date in Southern-sky clusters to look for new pulsars.
