Description Mark recovery experiments employing different techniques in marking, like tagging and staining is an
important tool in the study of migration and movements in the economically important crustaceans such as
shrimps, lobsters and crabs. The various methods used in these marking studies in the case of the penaeid
prawns, spiny lobsters, craw fishes and crabs along the Gulf of Mexico, the Atlantic coasts and the Indo-
