Abstract The CIMMYT External Review Panel was appointed by the Director General of CIMMYT. The Panel was charged with reviewing the research, outreach and related programs. It met in Mexico April 24-28. The first two days were devoted to a review of the wheat program at the Obregon station. The last three days were spent reviewing the maize and related programs at El Batan.
