Description |
Evaluation of tall sorghum varieties for yield and drought tolerance took place in Kenya at ICRISAT Kiboko field station. The evaluation trial was set up in December 2017. The trial had 20 entries replicated three times , 19 varieties were evaluated for drought tolerance while one local variety was used as a check. An Inter row spacing of 0.75m and Intra row spacing of 0.20m was used and each plot had 4rows. The data collection began three weeks after the sowing date and data was collected on various traits right from thinning to harvesting data.
