The map series show (i) simulated (APSIM) production of rabi sorghum standard cultivar (biomass and yield of M35-1, maldandi type) and simulated (APSIM) production of virtually improved standard cultivar (biomass and yield of M35-1, maldandi type, with lower transpiration rate (TR)), (ii) The change in production due to lower TR (M35 (low TR) - M35 (standard) ; i.e hot colors indicate production (grain/stover) improvement due to lower TR). In the map, Baseline is referred as Standard transpiration rate for the maldandi type and the innovation is referred as lower Transpiration rate.
