Molecular markers dataset of 331 sweetpotato parents from CIP Peru Breeding platform genotyped using DArTSeq. The single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) markers were analyzed to develop a low-density highly informative marker set for quality assurance and control in sweetpotato breeding.
