<p class="Abstract"><span lang="EN-US">A new coordination polymer {[Cd(H<sub>2</sub>dmbpzp)I<sub>2</sub>]⋅CH<sub>3</sub>CH<sub>2</sub>OH}<sub>n</sub> (H<sub>2</sub>dmbpzp =<a name="OLE_LINK135"> 2,6-dimethyl-3,5-bis(prazo-3-y)pyridine</a>) has been prepared by the reaction of <a name="OLE_LINK133">H<sub>2</sub>dmbpzp</a> in aqueous ethanolic solution at room temperature with <a name="OLE_LINK134"></a><a name="OLE_LINK132">CdI<sub>2</sub></a>. The compound was characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, photoluminescence properties, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The complex exhibits a 1D chain structure.</span></p> |
