Description |
Agricultural statistics data for the first four major crops have been collected from Syria, Iraq, and Turkey, countries collaborated for the "Supporting Coordination and Cooperation in Water Management in the Euphrates and Tigris Area". The data received for countries' district includes: crop name, cultivated area (ha), crop season (summer or winter crops), crop classification (irrigated, rainfed and supplemental), irrigation water source, planting and harvesting periods, crop intensity (no crop/season) – single or double crop, crop rotation, crop yield (weight/area) and crop market price ($/t). The data received refers for three years: 2002,2006, and 2008.
