Description |
Colour changes shown by organochlorine pesticides after hydrolysis for 1 h with monoethanolamine and treatment with AgNO3 solution are used to detect and estimate pesticides. The colours observed with 400-650 mug, 700-950 mug, 1, 2 and greater than3 mg are given for aldrin, BHC, captan, chlordane, DDT, endrin, lindane, and a new BHC isomer.
