Description 870 selected genotypes from thirty-five biparental populations from crosses of wild potato species S. megistacrolobum, S. microdontum, S. tarijense, and self-compatible 2x hybrid derived from crossing 2x landraces with SC sources of S. chacoense previously evaluated for late blight resistance were exposed to second round of late blight under natural infection in Chontabamba, Oxapampa (1810 masl Pasco-PerĂº) during the rainy season in 2020. Statistical Resolvable row-column design with two replications of 3 hill plots was properly established, three varieties with known late blight response were included as controls. After 40 days after planting (DAP), the percentage of leaf area affected by late blight infection was recorded by plot throughout the season to subsequently compute the area under the disease progress curve (AUDPC).
