Description |
28 pre-selected genotypes from wild potato species S. boliviense, S. infudibuliforme, S. lignicaule, S. bukasovii, S. raphanifolium, S. tacnaense and, S. tarapatanum were evaluated considering two water restriction scenarios under greenhouse conditions in experimental station Santa Ana (3302 masl Huancayo-Peru) from November, 2019 to May, 2020. The genotypes were divided in two subsets of according to early and late maturity. A statistical split-plot design with three replications of two pots for each water restriction treatments was properly installed, varieties with known drought tolerance response was included to monitoring the physiological response. Additionally, one normal irrigation scenario was considered to evaluated the genotype response to stress treatment as control, physiological and yield components variables were taken.
