2759 SNP markers from 1134 samples of 1075 cultivated potatoes from farmers in native hotspot areas of Pasco and Sierra de Lima in Peru were used to assess genetic diversity in farmers’ fields and compare the genetic diversity to the CIP potato collection to identify gaps in the collection.
