Description |
The crop ontology platform has already 11 registered traits related to potato morphological floral: Flowering degree, Corolla shape, Inflorescence number, Main inflorescence flower number, Anther pigmentation, Pistil pigmentation, Fruit shape, Fruit color, Flower color, and Ploidy level. Additionally, five reproductive biology traits: Heterostyly, Pollen Quantity, Unreduced gametes, Fruit Set Percentage, and Pollen tube growth; and four morphological variables: Predominant color of the flowers, Intensity of predominant flower color, Secondary Flower color, and Distribution of flower secondary color; are going to update in the potato ontology platform.
