Description |
It was a water stress experiment conducted during summer in a Mediterranean area (Barrax - Spain). It was composed of two treatments: control and water stress. We used Ledflex, a fluorimeter adapted to measure chlorophyll fluorescence at canopy level. It has been fully described in Moya et al. (2019), Photosynthesis Research. DOI: 10.1007/s11120-019-00642-9. This instrument was placed in the stress trial and It allowed to determine the effect of water stress on fluorescence of a fescue field under extreme conditions of temperature and light. In addition to the fluorescence data, surface temperature was also measured in both treatments using infrared radiometers. Last but not least "Airflex", described by Daumard et al., (2015), IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing. DOI: 10.1109/TGRS.2015.2418992, a passive fluorimeter measuring the filling-in of the atmospheric oxygen absorption band at 760 nm was installed in an ultralight plane and flown during the most critical days of the campaign over the control and water stress treatments.
